On a snowy day...

On a snowy day like today (6 inches and counting!), things that make me happy:

1. My smiley baby, as always.
2. My mouth hurting less and being able to eat normal foods (day 3 since wisdom teeth removal).
3. Feeling "pretty" for the first time in days- blow dried my hair for the first time since Matt was here.
4. MOPS this morning- good conversation, encouragement, and food.
5. A great shopping trip with Grammy and baby to Babies R Us- got lots of good baby food and items needed for our upcoming trip to Georgia. Plus, big sale on kids clothes!
6. Finding a sippy cup that Jack loves, has a spout cover to keep it clean, and is super cute to boot.
7. The pretty snow. Period.

Things I don't like:
1. Baby's diaper rash from his recent bout of constipation. Poor baby. Hopefully we're over it.
2. My husband having a stretch of super long days so we haven't talked on the phone/skyped yet this week.
3. All the accidents we passed due to the slippery, snowy roads.
4. Biting my cheeks since they're swollen, ouch!
5. My boots I just bought not being anywhere close to be delivered when it said it would arrive by Feb. 7. Boo.

But, it has been a very good day so far! Grey's Anatomy and Elementary on tonight. Baby slept in his crib the entire night (still with feedings) for the second time ever last night. Sigh. Some days are just so lovely the ickies can't compare to the joys.
