A pain in the...

... Literal rear end! Yesterday we had nice weather and my cold is gone. So Jack and I went in the backyard after nap time. He ran around and tasted several sticks, stones, clumps of dirt, and who knows what else! I tried to stop him but kids will be kids! I bagged up some of our leaf pile. The mark of being an adult: doing your own yard work without being told to and with no incentive. It was actually fairly enjoyable... Besides being 8 months pregnant. I am quite proud of myself for going out there and for the work I accomplished. I was on my hands and knees getting up all the leaves and bagged two and a half piles of leaves out of the 5 already raked up. There's still half the yard to be raked, but it's progress! It filled about 9 of those huge yard waste bags to give you an idea! Yup, we have trees so we have a lot of leaves.

So the fresh air and sunshine was invigorating. Watching my son run around the yard as happy as can be was refreshing. However...

I apparently pulled something in my rear end! Yup, I have a literal pain the in butt! Feels like a tight or stretched muscle. Not enjoyable.

There's a lot of "tightness" going on lately. Daniel is growing growing and my belly seems a big and tight as it can be, but I know he has so much more growing to do in this last stretch! Daniel has discovered he can stretch out more, but he still prefers to stay curled up most of the one, which I appreciate. He has given me a few good jabs this past week though. Since I have such a short torso there's not a lot of extra wiggle room in there for him. So strange to think there's a little person moving around inside me! Just stretching and wiggling and trying to get comfortable!

So a pain in my rear and some pains (mostly just thumps) in my belly. Wahoo.
