That being said, looking at my life now and back over my life, I have a pretty awesome life. Really and truly. I have been blessed beyond measure and I am so very thankful. I could list off specifics for days, but here are some recent blessings.
*My husband and son love me. Truly love me. Not in a I-love-you-because-I-have-to way, but in a way that makes me feel adored and necessary.
*My husband has a job. He enjoys his job. He is proving to be skilled at his job. His job stretches me as a wife and individual, and I am growing so much! His job allows me to stay home with our son.
*I was worried about making friends here at Fort Sill. The first two weeks we were here I was very lonely. Since then I have made both casual friends and extremely close friends I imagine staying in contact with for the rest of our lives.
*Pinterest. Yes, it has helped me update my wardrobe or just mix and match from my existing wardrobe. Yes, it has given me plenty of space saving home decor ideas since we have limited space for our many belongings. But mainly, it has helped teach me to cook. I have experimented with so many recipes since moving here and Matt and I have mostly been pleased. Just one soup recipe that we didn't care for- but the rest make me feel like such a good little homemaker!
*The Joy of The Lord. Yes, I feel like I have the joy of The Lord. This year has been difficult at times, but I feel like I've learned so much and grown so much in the process. Even on my darkest of days with the miscarriage, I felt God's love and protection. The joy of The Lord, priceless.
Those are just a few things that make my life pretty awesome. I have so much to be thankful for.
