While My Husband Is In The Field

Matt is gone for the Red Leg War, the last graduation requirement for BOLC (basic officer's leadership course). He left early Monday morning and will return late Thursday evening. So... Here are some things I would say to him if he were here:

*The neighbors apparently got another car, they think your parking space is theirs. I was tempted to park in the middle of two spots to mark our territory.

*I really miss you. More than when you were gone for months and months.

*Oh man, horrible headache. Drinking lots of water. Can't go to sleep until I have more water.

*I bought another block of cheese, I want to cut it up and eat some... But my tummy is upset. I feel like that would be a mistake.

*There's a big mess of dishes and the laundry needs to be done. I am just too exhausted to do it. Literally, I planned to do both once Jack went to bed, but it just isn't happening.

*I keep reading about the sequestration and worry about when we move. What if bah gets cut and we suddenly can't pay rent? I don't really worry about it too much, but it could be problematic.

*My headache isn't going away. I want to go sleep but won't be able to with this headache.

I almost posted most of these on his Facebook wall, but I know he wouldn't appreciate it at all. So here they are.
